First keek. Don’t mind my attire, just hopped out of the shower. Made up a little diddy for the occasion.

last night a beacon of light took my powers away
Projected through my parents’ house
it found me asleep in my room

then off towards the moon

Swallow the distance

The layers of anti-fantastical material defenses

I must sound insane,
But I know the space between planets
like knowing a name

Armed with a sextant and compass,
I’ll learn find what it means to be brave
Pretend that I’m brash, I’m courageous
When I’m just afraid

I will conquer space,
I’ll dine on the substance of starlight
and forget your face

You’ll look at the sky in the nighttime
Unblinkingly search for a sign
You’ll wait for that first falling star and then go back inside

Cast this spell and slip between
All your inhibitions
Oh, you’re not impressed
